Meet Vanusa

Hi, I'm Vanusa

 I’m a certified fitness trainer in Oakland, CA. My love for movement began in Brazil, where I started Capoeira at just 12 years old. Over time, that passion evolved into weight training, Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai — each one shaping the coach I am today.

 

During the pandemic, I transformed my parents’ garage into a makeshift gym. Neighbors joined in, friendships formed, and I saw how powerful and healing movement could be. That experience inspired my career in personal training.

 

Since then, I’ve supported clients through postpartum strength rebuilding, senior functional training, and injury rehabilitation. I believe in training the whole person — body, mind, and lifestyle.

 

Today, I’m committed to guiding clients toward real, sustainable change through personalized workouts, accountability, and a supportive coaching experience that helps you live stronger and more confidently every day.
